Equestrian Costume for Women A HISTORY OF HORSES We have a long and interesting background with horses. Depending on what time you're looking at or what region of the world the story is set in, there's a pretty huge difference in how folks and our equine friends are treated. There are tales of the raiders from the dark ages where a growling guy on a horse was for sure a barbarian that was going to bring about some truly savage moments. Pretty hard to live down the image of a bloodthirsty killer on horseback!  But, just a country away and in a slightly different time period, suddenly the same weapon-toting guy on a horse is now a knight in shining armor! We have all sorts of proud tales of chivalry and note the nobility of both the knight and the steed. Now, our horse companions are much closer to the noble steed than the beast of burden or the vehicle of doom. That means that those who ride upon their proud backs need to have their own kind of noble attire, too!  DESIGN & DETAILS Our deep horse fandom has wrought this Made by Us look that you're sure to love: the Equestrian costume. This look includes white pants and tall, black boot covers. The jacket features a double lapel with four golden buttons and faux pockets. The tall necked jabot has black detailing and buttons. Finish off your professional look with the horse riding helmet and you might not even need a crop to get your horses to prance for you!  TIME FOR THE HORSE SHOW We're all animal-lovers, here, but many of us have a pretty big home for the horse in our hearts. That's why our design team spent a whole year at horse camp just to observe all the important details of a horse handler's style to create this Equestrian look. (At least, that's what they told us—we're pretty sure they just wanted to pet them all.)
