Bring bold color and soft texture to your yard with this Gold Mop False Cypress live shrub from Expert Gardener. It comes in a 2.5-quart grower pot and is made for outdoor planting in full sun. Use it to shape hedges, define borders, or add contrast in containers and landscape beds. The gold foliage gives your space year-round interest, while the drought-tolerant habit supports lower-maintenance planting once established. This shrub is a simple way to add structure and color to accents and larger landscape designs.
- Current plant height is 3 ft, with a mature height of up to 60 in.
- Supported for USDA hardiness zone 8.
- Water when dry, checking soil moisture and watering when the top inch feels dry.
- Care includes pruning dead or damaged branches in early spring, fertilizing in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer, and mulching around the base to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
