Far Niente Chardonnay Vintage (750Ml)

Far Niente Winery, a renowned estate in Napa Valley, California, is celebrated for its exceptional Chardonnay. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine truly reflects the character of its origin. Most of the grapes come from the cooler Coombsville area, with some from Carneros, Yountville, and Jameson Canyon, depending on the vintage. Each 750ml bottle showcases the winery’s dedication to quality and tradition.

This rich, full-bodied, and elegant California Chardonnay is fermented in French oak barrels and aged on fine yeast for about 10 months. About half of the barrels are new, which adds extra depth, smoothness, and subtle oak flavors. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation, keeping its fresh acidity and bright, clean taste instead of a buttery style.

On the palate, it offers vibrant notes of lemon, lime zest, melon, pear, white fig, and delicate floral hints, balanced by touches of toasted oak, vanilla, and hazelnut. The texture is silky and creamy, with crisp acidity that enhances its rich fruit flavors and makes it ideal for aging.

Founded in 1885 and revived in 1979 after Prohibition, Far Niente continues its legacy of excellence. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with lobster, scallops, roasted chicken, or creamy pasta dishes.
