Kanosuke Distillery began operation in 2017 located near Fukiagehama Beach on the west coast of Kagoshima Prefecture.
The Kanosuke 2021 Single Malt was an amazing whisky to say the least and this years 2022 batch is right on the money! This is undoubtably Kanosuke with bright notes of passionfruit and vanilla, though this one picks up dark aged fruit like fig and prune from finishing in Oloroso Sherry casks that balance out the finishing notes of salt and toffee.
