What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"I grab these when I want trail-runner efficiency but need more stability and weather protection. They roll smoothly, feel cushioned over long miles, and the ankle support really helps on technical terrain. They’re fast, protective, and surprisingly comfortable deep into a long day."

When speed matters but conditions demand more support, we lace up the Fortux GTX QC Hiking Shoe from Lowa. Built with the heart of a trail runner and the confidence of a speed hiker, this shoe is made for long miles, technical terrain, and unpredictable weather. Whether we’re pushing distance on rugged trails or moving fast through wet mountain environments, it delivers a smooth, efficient ride with extra stability where it counts.

The rocker-shaped DYNEVA midsole promotes a natural rolling stride while offering high-rebound cushioning for sustained comfort over ultra-distance efforts. Durable jacquard woven uppers lock the foot in securely, and the waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining keeps moisture out without compromising flexibility or feel. Underfoot, the LOWA TRAC C outsole provides reliable grip across loose, rocky, and mixed terrain. For fast movers who want protection without sacrificing pace, the Fortux GTX QC is built to go the distance.
