94pts James Suckling
Raspberry, redcurrant bush and bark on the nose. Some lead pencil, too. Full-bodied, but not overpowering, with linear and polished tannins that run the length of the wine. Very solid and structured, yet there is openness at the end. Drink after 2024 and onwards.
Winemaker Notes
Very inviting and pleasant aromas with hints of black cherry and small red fruit complemented by typical notes of tobacco licorice and black pepper.
Palate: Velvety and balanced with ripe and elegant tannins, presents itself with
the right freshness and acidity that makes its end lively and spicy
Food Pairing : Ideal for second dishes white meat and game based; aged
cheeses; the elegance and the acidity make a perfect contrast with dishes of
octopus.
