What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve been riding the GF800 on my enduro rig all season, and the grip and control on flat pedals are unreal. The BOA dial makes fit adjustments on the trail quick and precise, and the TORBAL 2.0 midsole keeps my feet comfortable even on long, rough descents. These shoes feel armored without feeling bulky, so I can charge through technical terrain with total confidence."

From bike park laps to backcountry singletrack missions, we trust the Shimano GF800 Mountain Bike Shoe to deliver grip, protection, and all-day comfort. Designed for aggressive riding, the GF800’s flat pedal-specific sole and reinforced shank plate keep our feet supported on long descents while maintaining enough flexibility for fluid bike handling. The Volume Trail Last provides a performance fit around the ball of the foot for pedal control, while adding room in the toe box and heel for walking comfort.

A BOA dial closure lets us fine-tune fit instantly, with a pull-tab lace keeper to keep things tidy on the trail. The synthetic leather upper is quick-drying and durable, paired with a padded ankle collar and sidewall sole to fend off rock strikes and debris. Shimano’s TORBAL 2.0 midsole offers torsional movement in the heel for better comfort and control in technical terrain, making the GF800 our go-to shoe for enduro and downhill adventures.
