Travel Till Sundown: Florence & Venice

Buongiorno! Join me on my travels to Florence and Venice. I will share my personal stories, experiences, and pictures with you as I make my way to the heart of Italy's art, culture, and food. I flew internationally from Seattle to Florence during the peak of the Covid pandemic and upon Italy lifting its quarantine mandate for US travelers. It's my second time in Florence and my first time in Venice. So there are many new things to discover and marvel at. I'm also there to taste and eat some of the best Italian foods and desserts I could find.The book is broken down into three sections:My history of traveling and going to Italy. Why did I choose to Italy, or maybe why did Italy choose me? Just kidding, a wedding invite from a great friend turned into this trip and, ultimately, this book.It's all about Florence, which was a big part of my trip and where I spent most of my time. I called it my revenge trip, and you will see why. If you love art and art history as I do, you will hopefully enjoy this.While I was in Florence, a decision I made was going to Venice, my first time ever and one of the best decisions ever. So the second half of the book is all about Venice and exploring this fabled city on the water with fresh eyes, with an open heart and mind.Check it out; hear me babble about my experiences as I discover these two great historic cities.
